By car

Speyside is accessible by road from Edinburgh or Glasgow in around 2.5 hours. Follow the M9 north to Perth and then the A9 trunk road to Aviemore then the A95 down the Spey Valley.

By air

Speyside is about equidistant from Inverness and Aberdeen airports. Aberdeen Airport is situated 7 miles north west of the city centre and offers easy access to the surrounding area. It is served by flights from throughout the UK, including daily flights to and from London, as well as international destinations such as Amsterdam, Dublin, Esbjerg, Paris and Stavanger. Many attractive low cost fares are available from airlines such as British Airways, Ryanair and EasyJet. Inverness Airport is situated to the east of the city and is close to the A96. There are many links to many UK airports.

By train

Speyside is situated mid way between Aberdeen and Inverness which both have excellent links to the rest of the country. The nearest station is Elgin which can be accessed from either Inverness or Aberdeen. Take the option of the overnight sleeper from London and arrive refreshed in the morning. The Upper Spey is slightly closer to Inverness but the Lower and Middle beats are easy reached from Aberdeen.
