Last week

(Last updated: Monday 18th July)

Weekend Ending 16 July

With a splash of water and some cooler temperatures, the river was in good order last week. It
quietened a little from the rain the previous week, but aided salmon into the river from the lower beats.

Spinning has proved very effective on the river as the rises in water have been coloured.

Salmon have made more of a effort with these lifts and have been caught and seen by local anglers.

This July has been a more enrouging month with the salmon and seatrout, and I would appeal
to anglers to return fish as the last few seasons have been poor and the more fish returned, the better
the future.
